Precipitation in fast contacting mixers of two precursors, boehmite and NH4-dawsonite, were investigated in order to obtain different and enhanced solid features. The mixing devices, a sliding surface mixing device (SSMD) and a rotor-stator mixer (RSM), were operated continuously.
