Suppliers and processors agree one of the key elements in the success of American edible oils overseas is the high quality of the oils themselves. Edible oils have a myriad of applications. Several of them, including olive, peanut and canola, can bedirectly consumed. Some of these same oils are used in food processing. Others, such as palm kernel and cottonseed, have applications that make them best suited as an ingredient in food processing, while others serve their best purpose in deep-frying applications. No matter what the end use might be, one thing is for certain; edible oils provided by United States processors are of the highest quality. It is this quality that sways many overseas buyers to choose American edible oils for their food applications.
