Higher-risk APS: do we dare to DOAC?

In this issue of Blood, Pengo et al present a randomized control trial comparing the use of rivaroxaban and warfarin in high-risk patients with anti-phospholipid antibody syndrome (APS). The trial was stopped early because of an increased number of events in the rivaroxaban arm.(1)
