That is a bold statement. I am asserting this position because there has been some recent doom and gloom about the future of trade shows. So, what's new? I have heard this kind of talk for years. I disagree. The trade show is far from dead. People are just spending their money more selectively. I also read and hear about how "virtual trade shows" will replace the real thing. I disagree again. Virtual trade shows may prove to be a viable, supplemental marketing medium in some industries and professions, but I do not believe they will work in the fastener business and many other industries.
