Evaluation of Novo rat cages

Each cabinet contains 16 cages, four across the topand four rows down. The cabinet has goodmanoeuvrability before it is connected to the vents byway of ducting. Once it is connected, movement forcleaning and watering is severely restricted unless theducting is long enough to allow for excessive movement.Because of the ducting being connected to the extractthere will be less animal allergens in the room and therats are likely to remain healthier for longer as they arebarriered (to a degree) inside the cabinet.
