Some peculiarities of the electrospark coating process using 'ELITRON' installations

摘要

Electrospark installations based on the push-pull pulse current generator with capacitor energy accumulation have been investigated. A conventional vibrator was used for periodical contact of the electrode-tool with the workpiece during the electrospark coating process. The results have been obtained that show the relationships between the energy release in the electrode gap and some technological parameters of the process. It has been shown that the electrospark coating installations can be improved basing on the studied peculiarities of the energy release.
