Modified designs of three-phase multi-pole asynchronous motors with a short-circuited rotor in a new generation of serial machines

The main results of investigations on developing three-phase mill-table motors of the RA series with the number of poles equal to 2p=8-10. These motors have the rotation axis at a height of H=112-180 mm, and they have a single magnetic circuit. The number of slots is z{sub}1/z{sub}2=54/50 for H=112 and 132 mm, and z{sub}1/z{sub}2 =72/ 68 for H=160 and 180 mm. These motors have been developed to replace the mill-table motors of the out dated 2AP series.
