Simulation of combustion process in rotary-piston engine with phased fuel injection

Progress in electronic injection control systems enables to tackle the task of designing rotary-piston engine with phased fuel injection, in order to achieve high fuel efficiency. Two approaches to injection optimization are discussed: experimental and one based on simulation of combustion process in rotary-piston engine with fuel charge stratification. The latter is shown as being more efficient.
