摘要

To provide higher levels of service and to cope with a variety of users demands, many kinds of vehicle operation and management systems have been developed and used by freight carriers. Most of these systems use OPS for vehicle location detection, DoPa or MCA system for detected location and state information notification from on board units to the server system. On the other hand, we have proposed an event-triggered vehicle operation and management system, which eliminates driver's manual operation and enables real-time vehicle operation status monitoring by vehicle operation schedule based board unit event detection mechanism. In this paper, we propose a vehicle operation and management platform, which enables ease of application program development by combining vehicle location management function and vehicle operation management function. It also discusses the functional structure of proposed platform.
