摘要

Permittivity of construction materials is often evaluated by use of standing wave method in the open air. According to the method, standing wave ratio and the distance from material surface to the point of the first minimum field intensity are measured. However, it's hard to evaluate those values properly, because scattering waves from material edge distort the standing wave distribution. Possibility of excluding the effects of scattered waves on the standing wave distribution has been discussed in this paper.
