Multifunction Information Distribution System (USQ-140) is replacing the JTIDS across U.S. DoD and NATO services, according to the same U.S. Navy FY11 budget document. No JTIDS production is forecast. The Joint Tactical Information Distribution System (JTIDS) is a military communications system that provides jam-resistant digital communication of data and voice.
