Production of DDG-51, one of its main platforms, will continue, but SPS-73 production will end on schedule. U.S. Coast Guard is installing the SPS-73 on its maritime security cutters. U.S. FY08 budget documents indicate that U.S. aircraft carriers will receive the SPS-73. In 2007, the 350-unit order issued in 2002 was completed. The SPS-73 Surface Search Radar (SSR) is a Class B surface search and navigation radar.
