摘要

High porous (up to 84% porosity) carbonmaterial specimens were irradiated with neutrons at380-400°C with fluence of 10 26 m-2(E>0.18MeV) in theside reflector cell of the nuclear reactor BOR-60.After irradiation the 25% volume shrinkage ofspecimens was observed as well as five-fold increasingits electric conductivity. The considerable changesof size and properties of porous carbon material underirradiation obstruct its use as thermal isolation forcore of high temperature gas-cooled nuclear reactor.
