An analytical description of heat propagation under non-straight hand-operated arc welding joints from shaped pipes

An analytical model of heat propagation in the process of hand-operated arc welding of profile pipes of rectangular section is proposed. This model takes into account the welded seams sequence and direction. Time dependence of hand-operated welding rate is determined. The results of calculations are compared with experimental data.
