摘要

Heating, melting and evaporation of dispersedmaterial in impulse low-temperature plasma flow were simulatedto optimize the process of spheroidisation of ZrO particles inpulsed capacitor discharge plasma. The results of simulation allowto estimate the depth of the processes taking place in ZrO2-Y2O3particles with different dispersivity. The process of ZrO2-Y2O3particles spheroidisation with 50-100 mkm dispersivity wascarried out experimentally on the pulsed plasma equipment with6MW power. The powder properties and the chemical compositionafter plasma treatment were studied.
