Statistical characteristics of local density of plasma sprayed coatings

The results of the study of local densityof coatings obtained by plasma spraying on a roughsurface are presented. Histograms and average valuesof local density of coating on different distancesfrom substrate have been obtained as well as itsautocorrelation function. Experimental data arecompared with calculated distribution obtainedaccording to earlier proposed mathematical model.
