The Experience of Wste Water Treatment with High-Purity Oxygen Activated Sludge System

Hokuetsu Niigata Mill started up the new coated paper machine (PM 8) and the new pulping plant in 1998. Before operating those plants, new waste water treatment with high-purity oxygen activated sludge system started. This systtem needed smaller set up are than conventional, it's an advantage of this system. We expect a efficiency biological deodorization of kraft waste water. Now we report the operting experiences and some troubles of this system for three years.
