Application of network in SUIMEI 21, information management system for water and wastewater utilities

Nowadays, water and wastewater utilities want to use the latest computer technology to provide effective centralized management of data from widely-distributed plant. They also want their realtime process control network to interface with their business information systems. The SUIMEI 21 Information Management System for water and wastewater utilities uses the latest LAN and WAN technologies to interface process and information systems. The latest client-server, distributed-processing, and open-systems technology is used to perform data logging, provide sophisticated operation support for process and business application software. This paper provides an overview of the network technology in SUIMEI 21.
