Composites comprised of multiply-twinned particles and organic molecules adsorbed on the particles surface——multiple-twinned particle micelle

We have created what we term an "MTP-micelle"that consists of self-assembled alkanethiols adsorbed on thesurface of a Au multiply-twinned particle (MTP). Some potentialapplications of these MTP-micelles include preparation of novelmetal thin film structures.
