摘要

The pull out method was applied ot study the adhesive strength of adhesive joints in which a blend composed of an ED-20 epoxy resin and poly(arylene ketone)served asan adhesive and a steel wire with a diameter of 150 mum and poly(amide) fibers witha diameter of 300mum were used as substrates.The concentration of poly(arylene ketone) i n the blends ranged form 5 to 15wt%.It was shown that the introduction of a heat-resistnat thermoplastic into the ED-20 resin leads t an increase in the strength of the polymer blend-fiber interface.the possible mechanisms were advanced to describe the increase in the adhesive strength of adhesive joints of polymer blends to fibers.
