摘要

This report describes the emission characteristics of PM from diesel vehicles、and the research and development of DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter).The characteristics of the PM exhausted from diesel vehicles are as follows.① PM contribution ratio by the heavy-duty vehicles such as trucks and buses occupies about 60 percent in Tokyo. In the diesel powered trucks, the exhaust contribution ratio of the loadage 3-4 tons and loadage ten-ton classes are larger.② In the in-use vehicles of the 1994 model year, the ratio of SOF to the PM exhaust amount was 30-40 percent on average.③ The emission mass of the BaP which is one of typical elements of PAH, depends on the velocity of the vehicles, and BaP decreases with the oxidation catalyst.As the result of the DPF research and development which Tokyo Metropolitan Goverment has investigated up to now, and the necessity of the DPF development for the in-use vehicles was explained. And, the present situation of development and the fleet test of alternate regeneration type DPF and continuous regeneration type DPF in the current state was explained.
