Progress of Zeolite Synthesis.

Since A and X zeolites were synthesized by UCCgroup in 1950s',over 100 new zeolites with different structureshave been synthesized by using various inorganic and organicagents as the structure directing. Extensive studies on themechanism of zeolite synthesis are reported and the effects ofthese agents on the zeolite synthesis have been also clarifiedThis paper described on the advance of zeolite synthesis so farincluding the roles of agents. The relationship betweencommercialization and synthesis studies of zeolites is also reviewed.
