Electrocatalytic Activity of Metals: Electrochemical Reduction of CO_2 as a Probe Reaction

摘要

The activity of heterogeneous catalysis is deter-mined by the electronic structure and the surface atomic configuration. The electrochemical reduction of CO_2 at various metal electrodes and single crystal electrodes is described and discussed with stress on the electrocatalytic process of metals.
