High-pressure olefin polymerization using homogeneous catalysts

High-pressure polymerizaiton process is one ofrealistic methods for industrial application of homogeneous olefinpolymerization catalysts that consist of group 4 metallocenes andmethylaluminoxane. Reports on the copolymerization of ethyleneand #alpha#-olefins using thigh-pressure process with metallocenecatalysts are reviewed. Polymerization of 1-hexene withmetallocenes in compressed solutions (<=15,000 bar) are also described.
