摘要

The purpose of this study is to clarify the driver's reaction time, which is important to determine an output timing of several warning systems on ITS. The experiment was conducted using a JARI driving simulator with a Forward Vehicle Collision Warning System (FVCWS). The hazardous scenario was preceding vehicle's sudden braking from 100km/h by 0.6G. Without warning, the average and variation of the braking time increased as the awareness level decreased. However, when warnings were issued, the delay of the braking time depending on the awareness level was very small.
