Recent rolling mill modernisations

In the two case studies below, the business cases were different, highlighting the portfolio of skill, knowhow and expertise in the MINO Group. This project involved a radical revamping of a used cold rolling mill which the client had purchased as part of an expansion plan. The mill formerly belonging to a Spanish concern was to form a new production facility to increase capacity at their plant. The mill therefore became a 'new' asset but it started life over 25 years ago in another part of Europe. The mill was purchased by Bridgnorth Aluminium (BAL) with the understanding and intention to upgrade and modernise it prior to re-installation at their Bridgnorth site in Shropshire, UK.
