Optimization of carrot cloning method

摘要

Investigation on improvement of the technology of carrot microclonal propagation have been carried out. Optimum conditions of carrot inflorescences and seeds surface sterilization were determined. Substrates were proposed for induction of somatic embryogenesis in callus culture, for embryo regeneration into normal plants and for further in vitro growing of regenerants. Two methods of early vernalization of regenerant were revealed. Thirteen carrot forms valuable for heterosis breeding were reproduced by micropropagation.
