Tomato cell and tissue culture

摘要

Literature data on cell and tissue culture of tomato especially on the initiation and maintenance of calli, cultivation of isolated roots, shoots, leaves, embryos, ovaries, anthers and protoplasts are discussed. The transformation of tomato callus cultures via Agrobacterium tumefaciens, phytoviruses reproduction as well as cytologic and cytogenetic investigations of tomato tissues are described.
