Second-half export tonnage quota for coke slashed 17%

China has cut its coke export quota by 17.4 percent for the second half of the year after first-half shipments filled only a little more than half of the January-June quota. Coke exporters can ship up to 3.8 million dollars tonnes of the steelmaking raw material from July to December, with Sino-chem Corp. allocated the biggest share of 309,036 tonnes, according to China's Commerce Ministry.
