WSP Holding's Ltd, has spent nearly 20 million dollars this year to settle lawsuits brought against the company as long ago as 2007, most alleging that the energy tubulars producer supplied defective casing. The lawsuits, involving a host of energy exploration companies, distributors and oilfield services firms, were filed in county courts in Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana, according to the company's 2010 annual report filed recently with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
