Taxonomy of Nematocarcinus (Decapoda, Nematocarcinidae). Shrimp fauna from the Oceania (the Fiji and Tonga Islands) [Russian]

The species Nematocarcinus alisae, N. combensis, and N. richeri were found for the first time in waters off the Fiji and Tonga Islands. This discovery extends their range to the east and souh. N. tenuipes, N. tenuirostris were also described there as well as N. gracilis found off the Tonga Islands for the first time. The species N. paucidentatus Bate 1888 is suggested to be considered as a synonym of N. gracilis.
