CHICAGO - Agricultural, timber management and landscaping equipment manufacturer Deere a Co. recorded its best-ever fiscal third quarter with net income rising 15.4 percent to $712.3 million on revenues that jumped 22.4 percent to $8.37 billion compared with the same 2010 period. "It was our seventh straight quarter of improved earnings and the fifth straight quarter of record earnings for that particular period," manager of investor relations Susan Karlix said Wednesday on an earnings call.
