Chinese steel producers' continued downstream push has industry players in neighboring Asian nations and in the European Union on high alert. "We're noticing that Chinese imports are increasingly moving downstream," Gordon Moffat, director general of European steel producer association Eurofer, told AMM on the sidelines of the 10th International Steel Market and Trade Conference in Shanghai hosted by the China Iron and Steel Association and the Metallurgical Council of China's Council on Promotion of International Trade.
