A ray tracing method in the use of dual graph for calculating 2-D electro-magnetic propagation

In order to analyze easily electro-magnetic propagation of mobile communication Systems in urban areas, methods with visualization techniques are useful. In consideration to a 2-D urban area with buildings and obstructions as a tessellation made up of equilateral triangles, in this paper a method based on ray tracing method is proposed. The method can obtain an approximate propagation profile efficiency, in the use of the dual graph expressing the tessellation, and the result can be easily visualized.
