摘要

It is well-known that the transfer functions required for out-of-head sound localization are individually different with each listener. We arc studying on how to identity the transfer functions in real time by using an adaptive inverse filtering. In this paper, an adaptive inverse filtering method for out-of-head sound localization is proposed which is different with filtered-x method. In addition, this paper shows that the convergence time of proposed method is loss shorter than of filtered-x method and describes the relationship between initial value and convergence time. It is clarified that the method with initial value of adaptive inverse filter is more effective for the convergence, if the initial value is the average of many listener's impulse responses.
