Micro Gas Turbine generator and application for C0-generation systems

Micro gas turbine is a compact, a low cost, power generating system with good maintainability. Because of low NOx emission rate, it has a good feature of environmental protection. In the United States, micro gas turbine coupled with small power generator, has lately attracted considerable public attention, because of its enormous marketability as a distributed power generating system. Some Japanese makers have also started the development of the micro gas turbine, considering Japanese electricity restructuring in near future. As a co-generation system, introduction of the micro gas turbine generator into the commercial area such as small store buildings and convenience stores has already been started. A trend of the micro gas turbine development, a feature of micro turbine generator as a co-generation system and some example of its actual application will be mentioned hereinafter.
