Applying electromagnetic radiation to poultry production.

The effect of incubating chicken eggs under UV light, alone or against a background of a high frequency electromagnetic field, was investigated. UV treatment increased hatching frequency by 1%, but when combined with the electromagnetic field hatching improved by 4.3%.
