Building the social system for automobiles with internet - beyond InternetITS to internet AutoMobility

Since 1996, WIDE Project leads InternetCAR Working Group to build several services with Internet connected automobiles. In this paper, the experiments of InternetITS in 2001 are introduced. In 2002, we have started InternetITS Consortium. The role of Internet ITS Consortium is also described.
