摘要

A new capacitive divider with symmetrical low-voltage arms is presented. The high voltage arm is formed between the embedded electrode and the electrical bus, and the low voltage arm is formed by a group of dividing boxes installed in symmetrically position of the divider. The low voltage arm capacitance within the dividing box is constructed with a series of ceramic capacitors in radial shape. An ideal capacitance could be obtained within 40 MHz according to the measurement of vector network analyzer. The simulation and experiments show that the capacitive divider is well designed for the measurement of pulse with 10ns rising edge. Moreover, with the number of dividing box increased, the dividing ratio is increased steadily without the measuring bandwidth restricted.
