摘要

Recently, wireless LAN system has been introduced in various educational organizations. However, its use is often limited in one room because of the difficulty to predict the interference or decrease of the electromagnetic wave by wall, floor, plant, etc. In this study, communication quality through the wireless LAN was investigated in and around the school building. An access point was placed in the middle of the quadrangle and the height was varied from 0 to 3 meters. A notebook computer was used to measure a spatial distribution of the communication quality. Furthermore, the signal power was evaluated by a spectrum analyzer and compared with the result by the computer.
