International Manufacturing Computer Services Inc., the developer of the PartMaker suite of CAM software (www.partmaker.com) will unveil its new PartMaker full machine simulation module for CNC mills, lathes, wireEDM, turn-mill centers and Swiss-type lathes at IMTS 2006. The simulation is based on actual machine solid models and provides more realistic verification and improved collision detection. The module allows users to view a photo realistic simulation of the programmed part in 3D being cut on an accurate model of their machine. The machine model being simulated incorporates machine specific tool holders and attachments to assure that any possible collisions that could occur will be detected offline on the user's PC.
