There were used, during epoch of the complete silicate analysis, the great number (about three dozens) of methods to recalculate analytical data for micas into their crystal-chemical formulae, due to urge of the total usage of the quantity of oxygen and the defined amount of water. At present days, the crystal-chemical interpretation of the XSF analysis data impacts two other problems: absence of defined valence forms of the polyvalent elements, and furthermore, incompleteness of the elementary analysis because of absent definition of lithium. The proposed method is aimed to evaluate the virtual quantities of lithium in the incomplete analyses of lithium-bearing micas.
