STRUCTURING OF THE EARTH'S CRUST AND THE PROBLEMS OF METALLOGENY

Two contrasting periods are to be distinguished in the Earth evolution: 1) the 4.5-3.8 Ba age when mass amd enthropy of the Earth grew due to melting and homogenization processes, and 2) from 3.8 Ba later - when the differentiation process dominates in the Earth evolution resulting in a zoning pattern formation, dissipation of energy and decreasing of enthropy. Linear and nonlinear processes alternated in the Earth history. The ore-forming processes (the main objects of metallogeny) are nonlinear ones. They develop in the lithosphere in open nonequilibrium systems with an intensive energy inflow. Such systems provide high probability of concentration of disseminated elements within some favorable localities (structures). This is why sinergetics is very useful in metallogenic analysis.
