Expansion lifts efficiency at Wonga Plains

THE CAMM family's Wonga Plains feedlot near Dalby is undergoing a doubling in feeding capacity for three very important reasons. The tirst is to keep pace with herd expansion within the family's northern cattle breeding operations, the second, to exploit opportunities to improve grain efficiency through the installation of steam flaking technology, and the third, to spread operating costs over a greater number of cattle.
