Rapid Determination of Trace Amount of Hydrogen Peroxide Using Reagent Indicators

A method of hydrogen peroxide determination in aqueous solutions within the range of concentrations from 0.005 to 0.03 mg/liter using an indicator stripe is proposed. The stripe consists of chromogenous cellulose with covalent-immobilized 3,3',5,5'-tetramethylbenzidine and pocket unit for concentration on it. The method is exemplified in determination of hydrogen peroxide in precipitation and process water. Correctness of the method is tested by the method of additives. The relative standard deviation is 0.3. Composition of an impregnation compound for indicator stripe productions established via optimal three-factor design of the experiment.
