摘要

The efffect of microwave electromagnetic irradiation on the content- of free oxygen in water and water salt solutions was investigated. At an output power of the EMF generator of 56 mW, the temperature of water (solutions) increased by 0.5-1 deg C, and the content of O_2 was reduced. The decrease in O_2 content was significantly larger than it was expected from its temperature dependence. Moreover, the reduced O_2 content persisted for a long time (up to several hours) after the elimination of the field, i.e., the electromagnetic field caused a non-thermal transition of water into a new physicochemical state. The conclusion was made that the water component of solutions can be a primary target in the action of the microwave electromagnetic radiation on biological systems.
