Fauna and host-parasite associations of fleas (Siphonaptera) in different zoogeographical regions of the World. II

Using the information-analytic system (IAS) on the World flea fauna, and analysis of the distribution types of the extra-Palaearctic genera and all flea families has been performed. A unified classification of the distribution types of the entire genera is elaborated. In total, ranges of the 240 flea genera are classified in 23 groups with 128 distribution types.
