Separation of five beta-blocker 1-fluoro-2,4-dinitrophenyl-5-L-valine amide (FVDA) derivatives i. e. acebutolol, atenolol, metoprolol, oxprenolol and pindolol by means of high-performance thin layer chromatography (HPTLC) as well as pressurized planar electrochromatography (PPEC) techniques and with the use of HPTLC RP-18W plates as well as the acetonitrile - buffer mobile phase is presented.
