摘要

This paper considers a photonic crystal in two-dimensional consisting of multilayered periodic array of circular cylinders, and the formulation for guided eigenmode analysis based on the Floquet theorem and the wave guiding region are derived by multilayer method combined with the recursive transition-matrix algorithm with lattice sums technique. This makes us possible to obtain highly accurate results in very short computation time. The presented formulation is validated by other numerical approaches.
