Oregon Tech Transfer Team Serving Pacific Northwest Beekeepers

The Bee Informed Partnership (BIP) is a national effort developed to provide beekeepers with real-world, practical management information. It is funded by a 5 year USDA, NIFA(National Institute of Food & Agriculture) grant. The objective of BIP is toreduce honey bee colony losses by facilitating communication between beekeepers and researchers through information sharing. BIP gathers information about current management practices, correlates them with colony health and then shares the resulting information about management practices with beekeepers through a user-friendly website and database.
